Fast-growing renewables sector
A new family-run business, Harvard Renewables, helps homeowners across Greater London and the South-East to reap the benefits of cleaner, greener home heating with air source heat pumps.
Harvard Heating, the team behind Harvard Renewables, is well-established in Greater London, and they’re now bringing that experience to the fast-growing renewables sector.
“Our goal is to make air source heating pumps more accessible and less confusing,” said Bo Lindeman. The Co-Director at Harvard Renewables, added: “We’re not a faceless national brand – we live and work in the area and care about making a real difference to local homes.”
The business is committed to supporting the local economy in Bexley Borough. To achieve this, the company invests in apprentices and works with trusted tradespeople to ensure every installation is carried out to the highest standards.
“We believe in doing things properly. We provide good service, honest advice, and support other local businesses to keep skills and investment in the community,” added Bill Taylor, Co-Director. “Heat pumps are the future. Therefore we want to help more people access the generous government grants and take that step with confidence.”
Energy efficiency
Air source heat pumps are one of the most energy-efficient ways to heat a home. This means use the outside air to provide reliable warmth and hot water all year round.
They can reduce carbon emissions and are backed by government grants like the £7,500 Boiler Upgrade Scheme.
As gas boilers are phased out, heat pumps offer a cleaner, future-proof alternative. Harvard Renewables is making that transition easier for local families.
